The Skank is losing yourself in the essence of the connection of music and soul. Skanking your body to the feel of the off beat. The years I’ve spent on dance floors are insignificantly short compared to the scale of the skank, yet I’ve still seen it evolve in so many ways. These Culture-Casts are designed to attempt to trace some of these evolutions, this week we trace some of ska’s first leaps across the world, with the two tone movement of the 1980′s.
